The ERA (Exceptional Rising Artists) is an annual concert series celebrating the progress and artistry of a new generation of classical guitarists. Living in today’s world, our students bring fresh perspectives to each work, sharing their passion and individuality with every note.
Each year, the ERA brings together the best of our community’s classical guitar scene. This year, local classical guitarists Alex Shepherd and Queenie Li will open the evening with works from Australian composer Richard Lenz and Welsh composer Stephen Goss. Their students will also share a selection of contemporary and classic music by Leo Brouwer, Gerald Garcia, Máximo Pujol, Ferdinando Carulli, and many more! Emanuel Auciello, another acclaimed local guitarist, will close the evening.
Join us in supporting these young classical guitarists, and it promises to be an enjoyable evening of music!
