A delight for classical guitar lovers, this annual showcase concert features an array of works for solo guitar and small chamber groups, culminating in a performance by the heralded Elder Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble. Curated by Dr Oliver Fartach-Naini.
Guitarissimo has become a much treasured event for Adelaide’s music lovers and guitar aficionados. In these showcase concerts the Elder Conservatorium of Music’s classical guitar students and the Elder Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble present a stylistically diverse program of solo and chamber music, ranging from gems of the Renaissance and Baroque to more recent favourites from the guitar’s vast and eclectic repertoire.
